As part of your initial sign-up, you will be prompted to add a bank account. You can add a bank account from any bank, as long as it has a 9-digit routing number.
If you are adding or managing a bank account outside of the enrollment workflow, you will navigate to the “Your Bank” link at the top of your dashboard. Below are the two available options for adding and verifying the bank account that will be used to make your payments:
- Authentication via Plaid (instant verification) – Through this method, you can verify your bank account by entering your online banking credentials and selecting the account that you would like to use to make payments.
- Authentication through Microdeposits (two business days) – With this method, ZRent will deposit two small deposits (under $1 each) in your bank account. Once they become visible in your bank account after 2 business days, you will need to log back in to the ZRent dashboard and enter the amounts of each microdeposit.
